Well, I got here after the cbrknight fiasco as well. Going back and reading his posts, I first thought that people just hated him cuz they got tired of hearing him bitch and moan about his troubles with women.
However, then I found out that CBRknight said in chatbox that if he was riding and saw another NESRian in a ditch, he would just ride right by. He called out a few NESRians in particular, a few of them I've got to know well thorugh the forum and IRL, so that really was the last straw for me. I'm glad he left a long time before I joined.
Kingcast, on the other hand wasn't so bad. I met him at Motomarket a few months ago, nice guy. He just couldn't take a hint that most people here weren't always interested in his latest videos. That, and he didn't take criticism/jokes well either.

Hey, I'm right here whenever you wanna stop hiding behind the tags.
:dunno:

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist

So that's what I mean when I say I don't really give so much a fuck about this board when it comes to biker friends.
was it this statement that triggered the ban?

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
Oh, Paul quoted that one and I though it maybe had the proverbial straw in it. I just wanna make sure I'm on the right side of the fence with my posts cause I didn't see anything in there really. Bah, which ever.

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
As far as I'm concerned, the quoted post has absolutely nothing to do with his banning. It does however have something to do with a little side project I'm working on.
Dave - It means someone can't stand up and speak to me directly, rather they are being a pussy by saying what they have to say in the tags, removing tags just to put up new ones in order to send their mssg. Apparently at least one person is butthurt enough about this as they think I have some kind of ability to ban people.
Beats me why I'm being singled out but it's good to know people care.

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
Well...I don't know what a 'tag' is...but, I've lived this long without knowing so it probably won't kill me not to know...
...sorry they (it) are (is) pissing you off whatever they (it) are (is)!

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
Just chalk it up to people being passive agressive cowards and ignore the tags. It's generally the same POS people I wouldn't bother wasting my time with anyway.

Pissed?
Not in the slightest. I just think it's funny that some people can't stand behind their own concerns enough to say something directly to whomever their issue is with.
Even funnier that I am in their thoughts for them to put forth the effort to, not only put up a tag, but to delete it and submit a different one because they've maxed out the number of allowable tags.
Obviously my "bergs is unbannable" tag really got to someone.

I know there are certain members here that CAN see who's posting the tags.
BTW, I accept PM's from everyone. I love hints and riddles.
Just sayin'...

Tags are at the bottom and can be edited by anyone.

Not I. Not sure if the Admins can.
And there's no limit to the total number of tags, only the number of characters within a tag and the number that one single person can add.

Update: http://www.eagletribune.com/newhamps...in-creash-case
Quote:
A Hillsborough County jury has convicted a Windham man of second-degree assault and reckless conduct in a road rage case in Pelham last year.
Cody Eller, 20, faces up to seven years in prison and could be fined up to $4,000 on each charge.
Sentencing will be scheduled later, the court clerk’s office said yesterday.
The jury, after a trial last week in Nashua, found Eller not guilty of the more serious charge of first-degree assault. Conviction on that charge could have resulted in a 71/2- to 15-year prison term.
Eller had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Motorcyclist William Hawksley, 47, of Brentwood suffered a serious injury to his right leg in the traffic accident on Windham Road near the Windham town line in May 2011.
Eller was accused of veering the Ford Fusion sedan he was driving into the passing Kawaski motorcycle Hawksley was riding.
“I wasn’t going to let him pass me,” Eller told Pelham Master Patrolman Eugene Stahl, according to court records.
Eller’s lawyers had questioned whether Eller understood what Stahl was asking because of a language disability they cited in court records.
The incident happened about 4:30 a.m. Eller’s lawyers said in court records there was no evidence Eller was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
They questioned whether crash evidence supported the charges brought against Eller.
Eller, a month after the traffic accident, had raised with a reconstruction investigator the possibility an oncoming SUV was a factor in the crash, court records showed.
A state trooper who reviewed the Pelham police investigation concluded there was no credible evidence to support the SUV theory.
Pelham police prosecutor Dennis Mannion told reporters after Eller’s arraignment it was among the worst cases of road rage he had handled in more than 15 years in law enforcement.
“I haven’t seen anything like this,” Mannon said at the time.
Motorcyclists had taken an interest in the prosecution of Eller and were following the case. Some showed up outside 10th Circuit Court in Salem for one of his scheduled court appearances and his lawyers said in court papers Eller had received multiple threats to his safety.
Hawksley could not be reached for comment about the court decision.

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
$8K? How come they don't award something like medical costs for the rider? Or is this a criminal case, and the rider will have his chance in civil court? I'm aware that this kid probably doesn't, and won't, have a dime but that doesn't change the fact he owes for the damage.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully the kid sees some actual prison time for this.

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
a guy I know on another forum, if you've ridden a COTU ride you'd know him, was hit by a car while he was pulled over checking a map on the side of a highway in Cleveland this past September. He's also a police officer in MI. His leg had to be amputated from the knee down and he spent 52 days in the hospital. The guy stopped, got out of the car, looked at him then got back in his car and drove away. They eventually caught him. He was sentenced the other day to 2.5 years.
neither of these assholes are getting enough jail time.

Fact. If Kingcast were here we could have known about this 15 minutes sooner and we'd all be drunk by now.

COME ON... REALY WTF
A (Limited) Look Inside New Hampshire's 'Laurie List'
In 1993, the New Hampshire Supreme Court overturned a murder conviction for a man named Carl Laurie, because prosecutors had not disclosed that one of the police detectives on the case had an issue in his personnel file that might have raised questions about his credibility.
Today the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office, and each New Hampshire county attorney, keeps what is called a “Laurie List," a record of law enforcement officers whose credibility could be called into question were they to testify in criminal trials.
