So I turned down the other job offer I had and accepted one right near North Station. I have been looking for reasonable parking rates there and the only lot I found charges $15/day which I would refuse to pay
I asked the security guy at the building about motorcycle friendly parking and he said yea somewhere down the street I see a bunch of bikes parked all lined up in the summer. He could not tell me where exactly it was
and being winter I couldn't scout
I asked if he knew what they charged for the parking there and he said it was free. I'm assuming the city just does not enforce the parking at that location for whatever reason. Anyone had their bike towed for parking like
that or should I generally just expect a ticket before tow?
Anyone here happen to park in this area and know about where this guy was talking about?
he's likely referring to the area behind the building in this map, slightly down and to the left of the green marker. the long thin rectangular shadow is approximately where the parking area is, and is accessed from either the end of valenti way or north washington street.
i've parked there numerous times, no issues.

Well I have a pass provided by my employer for the commuter rail and T however who wants to be on a stuffy train in the summer?????
Thanks for the information drop, I will keep my eyes out and scout the area when warmer weather arrives. It's a pretty safe area for bikes
around here right? I mean the odds are low that I would leave work to find my bike gone? I have a disc lock but don't want to carry around
my 30lb chain to lock it to something lol.
Dude you can park in my Garage (Longfellow Place) at 50 Staniford Street - 22 seconds from the garden for $75 a month with your bike. That's $3.75 a day if your work 20 a month. Its indoor, secure and convenient
This is pretty cool - PrimoSpot.

That's the exact place I was referring to.
hmm this is appealing, PM me your phone number or tell me how to get in touch with you.
yea my company pays for my T pass but I don't want to be on a commuter rail when I can come in early and leave early to avoid the traffic. I will if I have to walk the bike to work but otherwise I would rather ride, to/from work is pretty much the only time I can ride this season aside from the rides here and there when I can squeeze them in.
