    I want to thank NT650hawk!

Geno (NT650hawk) drove 3 hours from Mass to Burlington, VT just to help me with my "project track Hawk". I didn't ask and I am still in awe but there he was in my driveway at 10 this morning.

The Hawk has sat negelcted for quite some time and I was hoping to get to it but.... I hadn't.

Geno comes up, cleans the carbs, strips the wiring down to semi track ready status and gets the fucking thing RUNNING!! I stood in disbelief, and then did a happy dance!

    I still can't believe it!!!

If I get some parts together I just might have it down at the 8/29 trackday!

BIG THANKS to Geno! I owe him big time.

Not a problem Doc,.. It's a Hawk thing... As you know. OH by the way it was 4 hours and 236 miles. I was glad to help out.
Next time well hit Hooters. You should be able to handle the little things remaining. Check out service honda for those parts needed.

Seriously think about what you are planning to do with the front end. 200-300 for the brake kit or 500-600 for a complete f4-f4i front end.

I'll see you on the 29 TTD. Think about a front fork fluid change. It should help slow down the pogo.

    I want to thank NT650hawk!

Nice to see the brotherly love....

My first bike was an NT650 that had the Wiesco 700cc kit with progressive rear shock and some fork work done and a left exit exhaust. Neat bike, wish I still had it...But I sold the RC31 (the Hawks undercover name) and got a RC51, which I love! its a streetbike only, for now...till you guys make me track it....

Gino, you work on one liter Honda twins?? I need to install the SS lines and new rotors front/rear but I do NOT want to goto the dealers to do this....Plus it really needs the oil changed. I got a nice grill, beers, a small spot to work on it but no skill and not too many tools....

Danvers, MA. 20 minutes north of Boston and 25 minutes fro the MA/NH border...

I know its easy work, but I dont have lots of tools and Im not too keen on doing it myself as Ive never done anything like this stuff, brakelines f&r, replace brake rotors f&r, change the oil is simple enough, but the brakes is something I dont want to try myself....

Wednesdays and Sundays are my days off from work..

    For the full story: http://www.maberacing.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3

Problem. Fuel pump (attached to bottom of my gas tank) apparently shit itself. In the process of shitting itself it crapped a small piece of rubber into the T junction connecting the 2 fuel feeder tubes. On the BRIGHT SIDE we did fix about 12 various other issues and some downright scary electrical things.

The Question now is: Race Loudon Sept 23rd or follow through with my original plan of going to the AMA Grand Nationals. I think I have (HAD) a legit shot of winning the Amateur National Championship..... been off the bike for quite some time however....
