That sucks man, ever try running a canyon dancer to keep the straps away from friction?

Next time you should use one of these http://www.sears.com/3m-mmm8040-3m-h...=1346379647309

It's from 3M so it'll really protect your bike in these kinds of situations.

    Seriously... sucks man. Sorry.

No way I would ever even think of riding that thing. I can't ride real motorcycles.

Insurance definitely covers the trailer and it's contents. IF you told them about the trailer...

That is the thing with these bikes... If it has Degsy's name attached to it it has been crashed.

When I bought my trailer, I asked about insuring it. My insurance company told me "No, you don't insure trailers. The trailer and its contents are covered by the policy on the car you're driving." I don't remember specifically choosing any kind of trailer coverage, so it's definitely worth asking.

    Yup.

Insurance should cover. Shouldn't effect rates either as it was an act of nature that caused it.

Re: Thanks chippertheripper of fair haven for scratching my newly restored Ducati 749

2 bikes, plus 2 dudes set of gear, plus grill, cooler, sleep setup, and eleventy billion boxes of Bomo stuff wouldn't fit into an ambulance. Oh, and a couple sets of tires too. Smellement and trailer was MAXED out.
We can Monday morning QB this to death, but it's only pouring salt in the wound. It'll get fixed, one way or the other.
