Jeremy Clarkson Vespa GTV Navy 125 review | Driving - Times Online
Oh Jezza, you'll never cease to entertain and infuriate me...
easily one of the funniest writers out there.
Whatever. Because they are so knowledgeable, they will know precisely why the bike you select is rubbish and why theirs is superb. Mostly, this has something to do with “getting your knee down”, which is a practice undertaken by bikers moments before the crash that ends their life.
That one made me choke on my coffee. That’s why I chose to test the Vespa, which is much loathed by trainspotting bikers because they say it is a scooter. This is racism. Picking on a machine because it has no crossbar is like picking on a person because he has slitty eyes or brown skin. Frankly, I liked the idea of a bike that has no crossbar, because you can simply walk up to the seat and sit down. Useful if you are Scottish and go about your daily business in a skirt.

I love this guy.

P.S. TopGear rules![]()
I'm laughing alone in my cube and everyone is staring at me..... That was awesome!
love im, he's so damned funny. Top Gear is easily the best car show on tv. The fact that h-wood is making an american version makes me cringe.....
dunno. they have some cred. Carolla is a car guy (hell, toyota named a car after him) as well as a proven personality and Foust is the shit no matter what you put him behind the wheel of. they other guy (don't know his name) is probably boring, slow and uncool but that is exactly what makes James May cool. could be ok. Aussie version is for shit though.
thanks for posting....
and yeah, i'm also kinda pissed they're making an american version... JUST AIR THE BRITISH VERSION!!!![]()

Problem with the British version airing on BBC America is that they have to cut out about 15 minutes for commercials.
I just download new eps the day after they've aired in the UK.

Duct tape is like "The Force". It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
I also liked the idea of a Vespa because most bikes are Japanese. This means they are extremely reliable so you cannot avoid a fatal crash by simply breaking down. This is entirely possible on a Vespa because it is made in Italy![]()
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

No, but I wish I could drive like the Stig.
On the other hand, what does it matter? I never drive the car anymore except to get groceries.
Top Gear should do a motorcycle segment with Hammond and May, who are both motorcyclists.
