Time for friggin MA to release title

It's been 7 weeks since I got my notice that my VFR was paid off and the lien was released..

Everyone keeps telling me it takes forever but it's getting me worried at this point.

What do I do if they've f*cked up and I'm going to have to call and go through some rigamarole to get them to release it?

Head off issues at the past. Get a letter of release from the previous lean holder, then go to a rmv with it in hand. Alot of time the lien holder is lax about submitting the letter hence the long wait for your title. That letter is the key or the rmv will send you packing.

Mass doesnt hold titles. Either they send it to you with a lien on it and that letter is your release therefore with both you can do what you want with it, or the Bank holds the title and signs it and sends it to you.

Yah looks like the bank (Honda Financial) fucked up.

I have the letter releasing the lien but they didn't send the title, and of course they are closed today.
