Yea I started getting bike fever really bad about 2 weeks ago. I'm not takin the bike out until the salt and sand is washed away (hopefully beginning of April).
Well, I did start the Strom today and mount the new tankbag. If my driveway wasn't an icy pond I would have put some miles on.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

If you own a hose, theres no reason you shouldnt be out riding already. It only takes a few extra layers on those 30* sunny days to stay comfy.
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.
snow/ice driveway & no hose![]()

Yeah I rode a bit this past wednesday. Just enough to hold me for another few weeks.

I use an invention called salt, my driveway is a mud hole
I rode my strom about 60 miles yesterday, first time I've had a chance to ride since I had the lowering links installed, it helped a lot, I can get one foot down flat, and the other foot is on the ball. still haven't dropped the forks yet, when I do that I should get both feet down flat.
today I played with my windshield adjustment and went out far a short spin to check buffetting, with the windshield at the highest setting, I don't get buffetting till I get close to 90mph before I was getting it above 60 and dangerous by the time I hit 80. I'd like to see if I can eliminate it a little more, I'll be getting a Madstad mount, hopefully that will work
I also installed my tank bra today

I went for two rides yesterday, on on each bike. Nothing special, just long enough to get the bikes nice and hot and charge the batteries. Mostly highway. My last ride prior was around Christmas.
oh for those who are itching, there is calimine lotion!

the 5 inches of snow that fell last night are not helping the situation here
If I remember correctly last year around the middle to end of march the roads were pretty clear. This winter has probably been one of the most mild winters we've had in a long time.
With that said, let's all pray to the bike gods that spring comes early this year!!!
I went out thursday of last week, logged about 150 miles. Riding was awesome, just like some have said- the end of the driveway was a little icey.
