    BT014s

Can't believe it's already time for new tires, seems like I just started riding again...

Anyway, I ordered a set of BT010s and they are no longer made so they sent me some BT014s. Anyone use these yet? They look very black and quite unlike tennis rackets so I think they'll be OK.

    BT014s

I just bought a set myself. I plan to put them on after Monday's track day...I figure the track day will just about use up my current BT-010's...

    BT014s

Wrestled the BT014 on the rear Saturday morning. Got it scrubbed in to the edges on Bay Road yesterday and it feels fine. Hope it lasts, I only got 3644 miles out of the BT020 that was on there.

But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

    BT014s

I presently have a BT010 on the front and a BT014 on the back. Seems fine. The BT014 has yet to spin under power and allows lean angles that eliminate rear chicken strips with ease. Seems a little more willing to follow uneven pavement joints than a BT010 or BT020 but I can live with it. I have only put 1400 miles on it and it is showing pretty good wear so I'm not expecting a whole lot of tread life. Might try Avon Sport Touring tires next. They are pretty popular with the ZX12R riders I know.
