    Re: Tires

More of a sport touring or touring type tire will work better in colder temps. Also correct pressure is critical in colder weather.

    my question as well

on my SV, I always ran Pirelli MTR60-Corsas, bout everything else I tried was like a hockey puck on cold pavement

the MTR60s will warm up they only come in motard sizes 120/70-17 front & 160/60-17 rear

Avon Extreme Rain is another good choice, comes in the same sizes and a 180 rear as well

    Re: Tires

I ran my pirellli stradas right down into the low thirties with out any problems but I definately didn't go hanging off either. Normal commuting they were fine though. And I just rep?laced them after about 11,000 mi.

I run PR2s on my street bike and they hold well at any temp. For all around use I find these tires hard to beat. I rode to work last week in the low 30s with no problems
