Info on buying bike from a dealer in California

I found a bike I've been looking for a few years now,but its in California at a dealers ,the bike is over 10k what's my best way of sending the payment that is safe for me and that I won't get ripped off,
The bike Ducati 749R with 800miles ,I don't have the time to fly out there so I was going to get a shipping company to pick it up and ship it to me here.
Any info would be appreciated.

Well Id feel pretty safe sending money to a dealer. As long as they are a legit business. Ive shipped a bike to New Mexico and I think it cost the buyer like $700 or so. Good luck, thats a rockin machine!!
