Today as some of you know, i had a lowside in turn 4 at Loudon in the last mother F***ing session. When I went down me and the bike got thrown into the path of an oncoming rider who was setting up to pass my slow ass... He did everything he could to avoid me but his bike ended up going directly over me. I got up from the crash and ended up making my way towards the other rider making sure he was ok.
I went to visit the other party involved in the sick bay, and ended up showing my helmet to him and the EMT. The EMT basically told me that if my helmet didnt fit like it did I would have probably ended up dead or drooling.(based on the damage to the crash padding inside the helmet and the marks on the outside of the helmet.) I mean for the love of god I have paint transfer from his blue bike on my helmet.
I bought my helmet from Duncanmoto, as you can tell from the 65 duncanmoto stickers on my bike, I am a big fan. Komaki (Mrs. Duncanmoto) made sure the helmet fit me like a glove, spared no time and cut no corners. Needless to say Komaki got a big hug and a thank you from me after the EMT made me realize what could have happened.
I walked away sore, but scratchless after being run over by a guy that is substantially faster then myself
Enjoy the shitty pictures.

Yikes! Glad you all are alright dude.
Kick Ass. DM people are good people, speaking from experience. Now to get Ms. DUMo to fit my next helmet...
Glad you're OK. Sucks that Eric hurt his shoulder, but it could have been worse for both of you! We were worried down in the garage when we looked out at T4 and saw that more than one bike was involved...

That was a little scary to watch.
Degsy, Oxx, me, and Eric were having a little fun and going at a pretty damn good clip... I was right there too, Eric was setting up on your outside and I cut 4 a little tighter up the hill to set up on the inside over the top of 5. There was nothing Eric could have done. Just one of those "Track incidents" that you count your blessings it didn't turn out worse. It's happened to me and many others.
Good on YOU for staying down and being a speed bump, not trying to snap up quickly and getting rocked by Eric's bike. That is when a situation gets ugly realllllly fast.

Glad to see you were okay Chris! I was just getting on my bike for the last novice session when I saw the two bikes down on 4 and quickly realized that it was probably you. Got worried but glad you and Eric are okay. Hope to see you at the next TD!
On a side note, Komaki, pen me in for a helmet fitting???![]()
for a good helmet and gear. my helmet was destroyed.
i ended up with a nasty broken shoulder and a shit-ton of pain. have to see a specialist w/ possible surgery.
still one of the bast sessions of the day.
just sucks when "shit happens" like this, glad no one was seriously hurt.
thank you to all that helped me out yesterday.
now back to more painkillers....
idk to be honest. i'm sure they told me but i was on some heavy medz....still am..
i just remember them saying it was an impressive break, and they proceeded to give me painkiller cocktails as nothing was working for the pain.
