Hey everybody,
I have a friend who took a job this fall at a local public High School as the shop and auto shop teacher. He's trying to get a motorcycle program going there, but the school's budget is low. I have visited the school and there are a great bunch of kids who want to tear apart and rebuild a motorcycle as a project for the school.
My idea is to provide parts and support to the program as much as I can on a donated bike. The students will rebuild the bike over second semester (which starts the 1st week in January) and sell it at a bike show or auction type event to raise money for building the motorcycle shop program further.
If you have a bike in any condition that has a valid title you can donate it for a tax deduction. Please pm me with details. A race bike is fine, but it must have a valid title in your name to get the tax deduction.
That's a great idea Duncan. What high school is it?
It's great to see them branching the mechanic program out to include motorcycles.
I have a Yamaha Radian that I might donate.... How would I get it there?

I'd like to know the name of the school. I have a 1976 KZ750 I would like to donate if they can pick it up from RI.
