Borrowing a friends trailer for the trip down to Barber. Trailer has been stored outside and not used much in the past two years. I agreed to take it and have the bearings and tires checked in lieu of using it. Trailer is in the Marlboro area, anyone have ant thoughts of a place to take it? Tx

A lot of service stations have a "trailer guy."
I took my trailer to a shop in Danvers called The Trailer Shop. Perhaps there is something closer to you.

Electric brakes?
If the tires have a date code that's more than 5 years old, it would be wise to replace them. I cannot recommend Good Year Marathon trailer tires. I used to love them, but my last set has been a nightmare and I'm much happier spending half as much on no-name trailer tires.
there is a cap world on route 9 in webo, maybe they can help?
Its not a big deal to replace / repack the wheel bearings and adjust the brakes. Its actually just maintainance. Most electric brakes are self adjusting even though I got them on my fifth wheel they still needed adjustment. Figure a days worth of work for a 2 axle trailer. Don't forget to grease your ball. If you replace the bearings clean and repack the old ones for spares. Check the lights too. And USE a pin on the coupler.
