Perhaps, I just want to know what really happened whether I win or lose. That's a really fine line the difference between a defect and production variation, and may be a moot point in a legal analysis.
For example, let's assume arguendo that only 25 bad cranks existed. Well I am aware of about a dozen cases just in my own research. So assume there are a few more than that which haven't made it to the internet, you know some blokes just don't DO internet. Well then you have a situation where the consumer has been sold a product that is "defective" and damn near certain to break regardless of whatcha'macallit. Like I say, I just want to know what really happened.... yes bikes have their certain quirks and some of them are readily understandable, like the Intercepter valvetrain problems. OR VW had some bad oil seals in the 70's in the first Golfs. We can understand that.
But cranks in modern vehicles really shouldn't be snapping.

Are you a paranoid schizophrenic, or just desperate for your 15 minutes of fame? Everything you post seems to be some sort of conspiracy directed at you.

Whoa bro, who came in your Wheaties this morning?
There's no conspiracy against me per se, nor is it alleged. There is a simple allegation that Triumph hid the facts about bad cranks. Now if you have a personal issue with me about some other stuff, then say so but there's no need to come up in here mad muggin'. :shredder:
I know what you need: You need to watch a fun St. Patrick's Day video and reset your temperament: Other than the bagpipes and Chinese snake the cool thing is early on when the fire truck pops up a guy standing next to me fires up his 2010 Gixxer 1000 with Termignoni, sweet sound!
And of course the cop Harleys at the end sound sweet too, I boosted the sound on those you bet.

Dude you clearly have a personal issue with me that extends far beyond this board. And you are desperate to talk me down. Hope you enjoyed the movie but I guess not because you're still acting like a pissant. :mope:
Re: The Triumph website boys are ridiculous.
 Other than "guy who posts crazy rants and videos on this forum" I'm quite certain I have no idea who you are.
Anyway you're welcome to do as you please of course, maybe others find your stuff endearing, who am I to judge what passes for entertainment around here...

What crazy rants and videos are you talking about?
Look through my posts, mate, I congratulate people who have bought new bikes. I give advice to a new 650R owner that he appreciates. Others have posted here about how those videos helped change the damn parking laws in Boston and wrote letters using my journal, appropriately enough checking in at 1050.

Just had my warranty voided by Triumph for running a larger rear sprocket. Quick to take your money when you buy one and even quicker to make excuses for not paying out to fix problems. Great bikes when they run right, but good luck if you have a bad one...

@markjrobbins
Are you kidding me? How much larger? Did you go down on the front as well? Give me the specifics, model, stock vs. final sprockets, etc.
Meanwhile have you seen this video on my page? My draft lawsuit is online I'll get to it this year:
Triumph to be sued for defective crankshafts in Sprint ST and RS 955i models.
Such a shame, not like some apparel couldn't have made this whole thing go away. All I got was a vague promise of a discounted - not even free -- crank.

Yeah... no he didn't, I call BS.
For starters, your warranty can't be voided. You can have specific claims denied if it can be shown your mods/use were the cause vs an actual defect, but your warranty can't be summarily hosed. Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act anyone?
I suspect what REALLY happened is there is a LOT more going on here than just sprocket selection that we're not being told about.
Re: The Triumph website boys are ridiculous.
Re: The Triumph website boys are ridiculous.
Hopefully you will sell your triumph and fuck right off,
Your an attention whore lawyer that is going to sue the company , way to make all the new product more expensive.
I've owned a lot of triumphs both Meriden and Hinckley models including a current 01 tiger with a lot of miles on it , also have an 02 sprint that's got over 50k on it and no issues on either
So someone didn't give you a free jacket or t-shirt and now your going to sue.
You have no idea how your bike with the crank failure was ridden from the time it was new as you bought it used , so right there you have no case as you can't account for the type of riding it was subjected too.
I'm with Darrell on this one , your all about drama.

No he isn't! He's anti-lawyer. He said so in the OP in order to clear up any confusion...
