    *sigh*

    A lot of my Bandit pals seem to like this new toy.. damn that Italian Tax. (Cuz it is Italian, the cost goes up).. which of course to my lack of backup information... did they have a cost for this? 10k? 11K?

    The added cost isn't because its Italian. Its because its a good bike. Not really in Bandit territory.

    Tuono.

    t... the name is now Hot Wheels Pig Fucker to you.

    now the tuono just rocks. i dont think anything can ever compare in my eyes.

    i was a little nervous when i was gettin ready to ride out with the demo group, then i started to let the clutch out to go and i swear to gawd this thing said *welcome home brent* and we went off together. the damn thing was antagonizing me the whole time too, just beggin for holligan antics. it really begs with like puppy dog eyes to be FLOGGED!!!!

    it was awesome.
    i am in love. but the 11K price tag is tuff to swallow.
    of course, Seacoast sport is in NH and if you live in NH, i think that means no tax right?
    i would still get stuck with the mass rmv saying bend over please.

    arg. i want one.

    so yea, i was very unimpressed so i didn't take it out a second time.

    Tuono.

    oh yea,
    the caponord is just weird and feels underpowered. cant see myself on it. so when i get old and want something more touring oriented i think i will go for something like the tiger.

    the atlantic 500 scooter.... WOW!!! that fucking thing is faster than the caponord with supposedly the same vtwin my falco has?
    pretty weird.
    umm, there were other bikes there, but i just didn't care.
    .... i wonder if i could make the tuono sound like the falco with just an exhaust change?

    hey aprilia guys? i have hte factory pro chip in my falco right now? would that be a compatible inprovement on the tuono as well?
    the fuel injection felt pretty right on the tuono i am not sure it needs to be messed with.

    Easy....

    Them's fighting words..

    I have no doubt it is a good bike..

    Ferrari=Italian=Aprilia

    SideKick=Jap =Suzook

    Just saying for a naked street bike with a nice upright position, it would be one of our (Bandit folks) first choices, that go with a riding style we like.

    Oreo.. how was the riding position? Wind Protection.. Etc..

    and watch that drool while describing what you felt.

    Tuono.

    ok, the riding position was excellent. it was like sitting on a dirt bike. only better. the rear seat is right there on your bum... keeps ya from sliding back when ya *get on it!*

    wind protection: eh. thats about it.

    as for naked bikes, i think it is pretty good, but compared to the falco.. you're sitting up like a sail and everything over the mid chest area gets blasted. but the aprilia rep assured me that Zero Gravity is working on a Doublle Bubble screen for it. I thought that grip heaters might be in order on this thing. my hands froze quick, with the handlebars holding your mits way out wide like that. When i rented that beemer in CA last year it had grip heaters and i thought they were the sillyest thing i ever saw until i needed em when the sun went down on PCH.

    i want a tuono, even if it means i need some warmer gear. the riding comfort and how easy it was to toss that thing into the corners was very exhilirating.
