No matter what you think of the candidates, get off your ass and go vote. Every voice should be heard. If you don't like the Dems or Republicans, there are 5-6 other choices on the ballot or you can in write any name you like. Not voting is the worst thing you can do. Any NESR member who does not vote will no longer be eligible for the NESR Discount!
Just came back from voting and had to wait 1 1/2 hours this morning. At least my boss was cool about it. It beats sitting in the office. Plus the ride into work was warmer at 9:30.
Fine I'll put my name down.

In Waltham...11 am, no wait. Once people get out of work, I'm sure lines will get heavy. Was on the bike, so took a nice l'il ride after voting. Great weather to vote and ride!![]()
5 minute wait in Wilmington at 10:30 this morning.
Some lady in front of me was complaining that we still had paper ballots and that they should use electronic voting machines to make it go quicker.![]()

burlington, i was there at 6:15am walked in got my ballot and walked out. 5min total.
Voted at 8am. No lines in my town (woohoo), though I did get some weird looks (I rode my bicycle there).
I went at 7:30... traffic was crazy on Rt 135 getting to the middle school.
Actual wait time in line was 25 minutes.
BTW... VinceF2, I was looking for you working a detail. Who's the cute blonde girl cop?

it took me less than 20 minutes to walk to the town hall, register to vote, vote and walk back home.
the only normal people are the ones you don't know very well.
Manchester is going to be a clusterfuck at 5:30![]()
Original
took 2 minutes to Vote!
no lines and a bake sale
btw old people make me laugh!
Voting is alot like DMV. Right @ open and right after work its a mob, go at 7:30 and its a ghost town.
+'s
No one cares about the exit polls at that point
No candidates trying to get your vote
Past eh old folks bed time so sometimes you get the younger set manning the polls
-'s
You get the dregs of the bake sales.
Its dark & cold.
Anyone approaching you might be a mugger, not a pollster
The election results will already have been "projected" by the major networks and cable outlets
Historically anyway

"fuckit!"
Took longer to get in/out of parking lot than to vote. Rode the bike so parking was easy. Voting was super easy at 4:45... no line.... 3 minutes total.
Me no likey crash
same story here: literally like 5 min to vote. Two people in line in front of me, grab ballot, check check check checkity check, hand it in and walk out. I like pretending I have some sort of say....need one of those buttons "I [I]Think[I] I voted"
