Hey VT Guys,
I converted a ski loving friend of mine into a wannabe biker. I went stayed at his place on a bike trip and since then he has been wanting a bike.
He lives in Burlington, VT and just bought a Suzuki Katana 600 in Bennington, VT. He tried to find a truck/ trailer but none of his friends have that.
He still does not know how to ride and is taking the MSF course soon.
He would really appreciate it if anyone could ride the bike from Bennington to Burlington (actually Winooski which is right next to Burlington). He is willing to pay in beer/ cash/ Ski lessons. He is a software cum hardware guy so any problem with your computer (especially Mac), he would be happy to solve it. Goes without saying that he will pick you and drop you off before and after the ride. You could consider it to be a Sunday Ride as I saw couple of good roads between these two places. I am thinking anyone living between these two places would be a perfect match.
Thank You guys. I am posting such a weird request becos NESR people rock and I have seen almost unsolvable problems getting solved here.
Hoping for the best. Any alternative solutions are also welcome.

I've got a trailer and would do it for gas money and lunch this weekend, as long as your friend would meet me in Barre, Vt on Sat or Sun morning to help(cast on left arm comes off thursday). I'd ride it up for him but I'm still a little busted up from my "off" in July. Regards, Jake

I would be all over that if I still lived in the area. I'm sure you'll be able to find someone that is happy to help. Especially for beer.![]()
We even talked about it. However, he would not know how to mount the bike. He is down to the seller today for the deposit and will see if the seller would be willing to help.
Also Uhaul charges ton of money per mile. Its a long haul for that....Just their mileage charges for small truck would be about $150.
However will a bike fit into this trailer:

I'm actually in Burlington. I'd do it too if the other folks don't work out. We'd just need to figure out when -- would have to be a weekend. I'll do it for free (well, okay, for lunch).

Ditto all of the above. I have a truck that we can throw the bike in, or I can ride it up. Whatever works best for you.
Sick! Thanks everyone for the response. It's appreciated. I shot off some PMs to a few people who seem to be free this weekend. We'll see how it works out. Thanks again.
You can add me to the list also, if you like.
