I would have been rather annoyed and would have politely explained that allowing a child to sit on a bike is dangerous because they are unstable and could fall over, plus serious burns could occur if the pipes are hot.

Then I would have checked for scratches and wiped the little snot-nosed kid's greasy fingerprints off my tank.

I walked out of my dorm last year to find some punkass dude sitting on my bike revving the throttle, bike was off, but still. I confronted him and he got in my face about it... told me "if it was on the sidewalk it was his because he runs these streets".

It escalated kinda quickly and led to me hitting him with my helmet. Needless to say, I took that one a tad too far. If he was 5 I probably would have toned it down a little, but just a little.

I HATE when people do this. It is so disrespectful. I had my bike at work and one of the guys I work with come in and say hey a little girl is hanging out near your bike. And I just gotten to work like 10 minutes ago and my bike was still hot and sure enough I go outside and the little girl is right near the exhaust ready to climb with no parent in sight!

I came out a couple of years back to some asswipe siting on my NighthawkS thought he owned the street, too. When he got off and headed my way to ask what I had to say I kicked him in the balls so hard, they hadda be hangin with his tonsils, then punted his face when he was bent over..Ya hate to be assaulted, ya know? He scared me!

Meanwhile, that some shitbird puts the kid on the bike when you aren't with the bike ought to be some kind of trespass or unauthorized use of and against the bike. Both my 450lb+ motorcycles have kickstands that are fairly flimsy and loose.

this isn't even a joke on my bike considering how much my rear suspension sags, and the bike sits fairly upright on the kickstand

450lb motorcycle + flimsy stance on kickstand + kid = lawsuit

so NO kid is allowed to sit on my bike
