To elaborate, I think he was wearing a helmet (I'm not going back to review the video), but it broke in half from top to bottom, just as his skull did. When the emergency techs tried to dislodge his head from between the pole and a fence, the two sections of skull flexed, showing that the split truely ran the length of the skull and the contents of his head hit the ground in a liquified mess. They then tried to stuff the contents back into the skull, but it just fell back out, so they just left it on the ground until they could remove the body from the scene. After seeing the body in presumeably the coroner's bag, I'm still trying to figure out what happened to his face, though I suppose it was just pushed into his head and was probably part of what fell from the skull when they moved the body.

I assume he felt no pain, so that's prolly a good thing cause I can't imagine that would feel too good. I don't know who I feel worse for - the guy that hit the pole and had a bit of a bad day and a minor headache, or the people cleaning it up....prolly have to go with the cleaners in that one. Not a job that I could do......

Beyond gross...I get very woozy at the sight of (my own) blood but that was almost like looking at an animal vs. another human being. I think because it was the person was way beyond disfigured.

Do you think that was a full faced helmet he was wearing? I have a hard time thinking that a DOT spec helmet would break like that.

Next time I get the inclination to do something squidly I will think of that video

I watched about half of it, up to the point when they started trying to pry the guy's head out from between the post and the fence. The first part just reminded me of meat rendering plant, but the brain matter falling out of the head turned my stomach, and thus the STOP button was hit.

Seriously...I have a pretty strong stomach for shit like this. I hit STOP when they had him on the sheet and were moving his (half) head around and plopping brain matter nexta him. That's probably wunna the most disturbing things I've EVER seen...
