I pulled a simular maneuver when I wrecked my kawi. Was trying to push my limits only after a month of riding time, went into a decreasing radius left-hander... leaned a bit too far with not enough throttle and lowsided... only except there was a nice guard rail there to meet my bike instead of grass![]()
I've done like 2,000 miles in the past month.Originally posted by ancosta
Glad to hear you are OK. I don't mean to preach but I'd getting several thousand "incident free" miles under the belt before really pushing it, which I'd save for a track day under instruction. Kudos on wearing full gear, and good luck!![]()

Its all good, shiny paint was boring anyways, it needed some good scrape marks.Plus my wrist doesnt hurt *as* much now, so hopefully it'll be 100% within a week.
I guess it was as "good" of a crash as you can have.
Haha, going through some of my old posts and found this one. I dont think I've even dropped my bike since this incident. And it also reminded me that my wrist was sore until about January, so that was one hell of a sprain I put on my wrist. lol
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.

Picked up my bike from BCM on Saturday and yes..........................I was sure to wear full leathers even if I wasn't color coordinated with my bike.
