What bike? SV650 has them already.

Vibranators work better - had them on my Roadster. But folks have put lead shot or pennies in their bar ends for years to damp vibration or tune it to a range that doesn't bother them.

    Re: Weighted Bar Ends

I understand the idea behind the weights, but I don't understand why adding an arbitrary weight is good, unless it is just a simple trial and error fix for a problem bike. Is it a simple assumption that the manufacturer couldn't get it right to begin with? It seems like Honda or whoever should have this sorted to begin with. I discovered my 08cbr1k has weights in the bars after busting one in half from a low-side. The actual bar end themselves are very light.

RhinoMoto are excellent, especially if you expect to be going down at all, or you like the cool modular slider look.

Some of those older Hondas came with lead packed inside bars so the weight of a weighted bar end may not help your problem unless the weights have been removed, which happens quite often.

When I was commuting 1k miles/week I really wanted no vibes. I cut some crome steel tube, melted lead fishing sinkers and poured them in. When cool I drilled a hole and bolted them onto my CBR600 bars. VERY smooth and nice and chromeo.
