Valentino taking the Formula 1 Ferrari out for a spin, but have you seen Schumaker on Casey Stoner's Ducati? Very cool...

Not bad for a race car driver.

According to an article in L'equipe (a French sports newspaper) He was only 5 seconds off the 2007 Pole time at Valenciana.
Not bad for a car driver indeed!

RRW or Motorcylist or one of the rags had an article about it...impressive indeed.
Suggests a couple things to me...
- First, being 'sensitzed' to that kind of speed helps. That is, being accustomed to 200mph and how quickly shit happens can only be learned by experience...and he has plenty of that.
- Second, the desmosedici is pretty friendly and contributes to the execution of the decision making.
- Third, he is enormously talented....
(Yeah...thats 3 things. Disregard one...your choice!)

+1 on the reaction time. Either a car or bike the reaction time at 200 mph is the same. Damn I wish I could do that!![]()

And his body is used to the absurd g forces a F1 car can produce in corners and under braking (which I'm pretty sure are a good deal higher than a moto gp bike can produce).
I hope he does do a few real races, I'd love to cheer for Schumey.
