fun roads in north central MA / southern NH?

Any folks here from the central MA/NH border area care to share your favorite roads to ride? I live in Lunenburg and I'm always looking for interesting roads.

I know about the nice little piece that goes through Willard Brook forrest in Townsend. And there are a few around Mt.Wachusett and the resevoir that aren't bad. Rt. 124 in NH is ok too.

I know there's more good stuff out there that I haven't found yet!

well, keep your eyes glued to the rides and events info forum. There is a southern NH ride (leaving from the Nashua area) on Sunday. Anything posted publicly is open to the public....

I just moved to MA and am still trying to
get familiar with all the good roads.

A couple so far that i've liked are 140 to rt 62...from rt 2...rt 31
down thru leominster state forrest...nice scenery

The 140 to 31 is nice. I take that all the time heading to worcester. Not very twisty, but fairly scenic.

NH Rt 31....NH Rt 123...a nice stretch through Mason, NH by Uncle Sam's house...

I mostly know the southern NH area just north (obviously) of where you live.
