So I bought this for my long bike trip last year: http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?...llow&cId=PDIO1 and I dropped it last week and the compressor broke. I am going to tear it open and see if I can fix it, but can anybody recommend one that might be a bit more robust? It needs to be small enough that I can easily put it in my luggage.
Right now I'm leaning toward this:
Amazon.com: Interdynamics SF-275 Safari 12-Volt Air Compressor with Storage Case: Automotive

False alarm! This is why it pays to tinker. I opened my busted one up and right off the bat I saw that somehow the ground wire had popped off when I dropped it. Works like a charm again! I'll keep this thread around in case anybody else is interested.
The Kobalt one works, but it's not the best.
