So taking the advice DaGuy formerly known as DaSpence, I just enrolled for the BRC through IronStone Ventures in Acton for July 3-4 or 5-6. Don't know which one yet but I can't wait to come home on leave and go.

I know a bunch of you guys are instructors and some people have recently taken it. So any tips, suggestions and pointers would be appreciated.

I believe us coming down there is still up in the air, all depends on the BDE CDR wants to do....We are doing great things up here in the North and through the Mosul area so hopefully not.

My leave date is June 14th so my boots should hit the ground state side June 16th and I will deploy back July 1st.

Have fun at the course, the BRC breaks it down to the most very basic of riding so be very open minded...Its still a fun course though. Even though I rode a little bit before I took the course I still found it to be very helpful.

Definatly. I have no concrete plans except the brc and lounging around, pool(both billiards and aquatic) and drinking. Also hope to walk or drive to a couple bike nights if possible, i dont think id feel right showing up to a pose having never ridden before, lol.
