Mission Accomplished.![]()
Woke up suprisingly early this morning and decided I needed a break from the city. So I set out on a mini adventure to Rhode Island. Ended up at "Sakonnet Point".
Took 140 to Taunton which is a decent road when traffic is light. Then got on 138S from there, which was horrible. Lots of broken and bumpy road. I was amused by the signs that read "BAD CURVE". After I got on 77 South it was clear sailing. I would've appreciated some more corners but it was a pretty nice road. Well surfaced, 45MPH most of the way (Um, speed limit that is). On the way home I took 24N to 140 instead of 138 and it was much better even if it was the highway.
About 200 miles total and 4 hours of saddle time. Now I need to start the work I should have been doing this morning...
