well after a while of looking at a few different bikes, i finally pulled the trigger. Just wanted to thank bruce for helping me with info and pointing me towards the other bikes i was looking at.

Bike was looked over by the dealer, and the guy had all the service records. Shes a cherry. All stock for now except for a couple small things.





nothing you guys having seen before but im super happy. back to wrenching on the dirt bikes

ya bruce thats the nyc one. the story behind that was he bought it from another speedzilla member and the guy had put track plastics on it and planned to use it for his backup bike but ended up buying another bike. the guy wanted to keep the track plastics so the guy i bought it from had to buy plastics for it. i saw your comment on his thread and asked him to get proof from the dmv that it wasnt stolen and he was happy to do it. glad it all worked out. Definatly thanks for all your help though, made finding/buying a bike that much easier

Cool, looks good. Check to see if the flapper was removed. If not take it out. Check the RC51.org mods page. Also get some SS brake lines for better feel. Thats where I would start and go as your budget allows. Let me know if you need anything or help taking it down.

it says its got the flapper mod. Its got galfer stainless lines front, rear, and clutch. i think i read a little bit about some of the other free mods but ill have to check them out some more.

haha saving as we speak. we took the stock cans off just for giggles today and it was damn loud. gotta spend more time prepping the 2 strokes for supermoto so it should take my mind off the rc till warmer weather comes. Probably a good thing, id probably go crazy if i didnt have anything else to work on.

Bruce, i cant wait to meet you guys and hear a bunch of twins go down the road. I was so giddy when we got it back to my friends garage. I wanted to go ride it so bad but it was too sandy and snowy out i didnt want to risk it. spring cant come soon enough this year.

thanks union, i got it stored in my friends place in syracuse since i go to school in rochester. i wont be bringing it back to mass till march when i get a week off. then its off to the dmv to get all the paper work done

yep i was hooked on a buell for quite some time. then i did some searching for an rc for fun and found it was in my price range. loved this bike since i first saw it a few years back.
