I like too! But I think of sex or techno music while I am riding! Naked women enter my mind as welll! As a matter of fact, right now I am listening to Dido after leaving the nudee bar, and all I want to do is ride!!!!!
Spankypants!
I sometimes chew gum while I ride. Especially when its real hot and dusty out.

I kinda do. It's tough to chomp away when your cheeks are getting smooshed by the padding in the helmet. But I usually have a slab in there, except when racing (which hasn't happened much)
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
only when I ride helmetless

I think you're funny and wish I knew the story behind this.
OH, no I don't chew gum and ride at the same time.
I do stick my tounge out and bite it (why do I feel like I'm 'a gonna regret stating that?) while in hot turns in a race.

I only chew "racer gum" while racing. I don't chew gum while riding on the street.
Racer gum is available from Lockhart Phillips in 4 flavours.
Axle grease flavour
Engine oil flavour
Brake fluid flavour
water wetter flavour.
I like water wetter as it keeps you mouth really cool during a race.

Perhaps some Clamato flavored gum for you then?Originally posted by Kham

Mmm...The taste of clams and tomatoes, together now in easy to chew sticks!
I chew when I ride. I too like the water wetter flavor as it quenches my thirst.
Kevin, maybe you need to chew a little bit harder or put the gum on the same side as the turn . This way the added weight on that side will assist in the turn.

I was thinking the same. Kind of like when you hold your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles then while with your right hand draw a 6 in the air. what happens?
Yes your foot goes counter clockwise! It's a mind thing.![]()

You don't even have a bike.. I use Jawbreakers when I want to throw the bike in hard.. That is the good shit.. Factory Works stuff not that kit crap every body can buy..Originally posted by kmf
For the guys that said yes, do you notice your bike handles differently when chewing gum vs when not?
I don't know if it is my mind or what, but I can't seem throw into the turns as hard when I have gum in my mouth.
Maybe I just need to add more spring to compensate for the extra weight?
What do you guys think?

I prefer to chew on fried clams from the red wing diner, i put a quart of them in my tank bag and it lasts all day. I try not to use my throttle hand to eat them , because the grease makes throttle operation tricky.
Big Red? isn't he the guy that fought that bike gang at that party in foxboro?
