That, l can't help you with.

Yep, my racebike cost me a new bathroom.....
Then, about a million more after we sign all those papers....
Sedanman, what kinda track bike is she looking at? Budget? Built 848s are a dime a dozen these days. More and more RSV4s to go around too. Jewcati has a sweet 675 for sale also.
The budget is small. This is a "first step". We've seen a few CBR's and GSXR's in the 2 grand range then we figure another 800 or so to re spring and revalve the suspension. Then last night we talked about getting her an R3 and me taking her FZ6. We just took the suspension off the FZ6 to send to RaceTech.
Anything l do will be cheaper than having a mishap with the BMW and l think I'm riding that bike to it's limit already.

Judging by how many cbrs and gsxrs are going around, they should make a sensible choice. Only suggestion I'd have there is to buy one you can grow with. Suspension, rearsets, tires, that's always the expensive stuff. Just spend it on a bike that's a good enough platform to start with.
We just got the suspension buttoned up on the FZ6 yesterday. Stock stuff resprung and rebuilt with gold vavles. Going out for an extended test ride today. Did a little shake down run yesterday and am so far pleased.

How about a 996? All ready to go and plenty of room to grow into it.
Looks like I'm getting her FZ6 and we're getting her a new R3. I like this plan. Next year I'll get something beefier for myself and the FZ will be waiting for my wife should she outgrow the R3.
