Chain/Sprockets on the KLR + Valve check. Also need to fab up a new license plate backing plate since my license plate keeps rattling itself apart.

    CR125 needs nothing

Rex needs valve adjustment, new exhaust system, jet kit, pods, battery out kit.

New racebike needs a Penske rebuild, oil change and shit-ton of zip ties.

Here's mine. 87 Dodge Dakota. Carb'd 3.9 ltr with a 5spd manual. Fun truck and great for hauling the bikes around with the long box. It's getting a new right fender (has bubbles starting) , undercoating the undercarriage and going to add a tach, temp gauge and oil pressure gauge.

Anyone know how to install gauges?

CR125R - stud the tires, new air filter, new chain. Done.

zx6r street bike - pull the front and rear suspension & change fluid. Valve adjustment. Change plugs.

sv650 race bike - rebuild from the ground up. Have the frame damage fixed. New subframe. New swingarm. Fix bodywork. New clip on bars. Change oil in front forks. Mount F3 rear wheel. Clean and rebuild carbs. Source tank. Replace broken/bent rearset components. Ride the piss out of it come April whether the fockin femur is healed or not.

It's not too difficult. Worst part is locating where the gauge inputs will be sourced with regards to the respective gauges.

I advise you look into the electrical type oil psi gauge. It's more expensive than the mechanical type but better in that you won't have to run an oil line into the cabin. When (not "if") that line blows, it sucks. Had one let go in one of my Subarus and ended up having to remove the enitre carpet which took three days to clean up that mess.

RC51 is ready to roll... Just have a new tail section and PCIII to install, other than that the battery is charged she is running mint and ready to be registered to ride soon! Come on spring.

My other projects are house related. I have been renovating my house room by room when I have time/money sometimes they both are not occuring at the same time, so this has been a timely process. I am sure many of you know what it's like.

Here are some pics of the breazeway.

Other Recent updates are: Wood stove & Hearth.
    Breazeway
    Foyer/breakfast counter almost done.

Anybody have $ or free time they can give me?? I hate not having the house done...

Slow but sure! I need another warm day to wash the motor and and the frame outside. Then I need to find time to head to the dealer to order a few parts for it, new chain, chain slides on the swingarm, and the rear chain guide.

Oh, and I may bring back the squid in myself and do some polishing

Re: Show us your... winter project

Bad pic from my phone, but the color being a mudroom was picked as a light brown. Chocolate almond is the color name. Looks better in person. The wall where the window and bench is has beadboard wall to wall to break up the room/color.

I have the first coating of paint on, Will finish that tonight. Then it's on to design my Motorcycle closet! I am making shelves that fit my riding boots, all my helmets, tank bag, and probably a drawer or two for misc stuff I sometimes need like the bitch pad/pegs.

I need idea's on what to do for the sitting bench. The bench is 12' long and depth will be 13" deep.

First idea was a nice piece of Oak, then do a light or natural stain/poly finish.
Other idea was have a 2" foam filled cushin made as a nice soft place to sit while changing in and out of shoes.

    Any other thoughts?

Anyone know someone that makes cushings or an Upholsterer thats not busy?

on using a damp sponge. They key is to put the mud on VERY smooth to begin with.

The more I do this the better I am getting at it, but I still don't have that method down.... The less sanding the better.. Just not that good yet, and I really dont want more practice.....

Re: Show us your... winter project

Some progress today, it warmed up some so i was able to wash the frame and motor outside. Let them both dry by the stove for an hour or so, then put the motor back in.

Temps dropped below freezing again so other parts had to be cleaned in a warm environment
