Re: Show us your... winter project

Breazeway is comming along great. Closets are done, Just today finished making the bench, minus the cushin for it. (have to get that made), Going to stain it for now, I also Textured the ceiling, trimmed out the last door , hung the new light, but need longer screws to mount it.

As of right now I was thinking of waiting until warmer temps before I put the tile floor down so it doesn't take a week to fully cure without heating the room for a few days straight. That little baseboard heater running a few days straight could get pricey If I was to do the tile now. Then when the tile is done I can finish and install the baseboards.

Over the next few days I should be done with all the trim work including painting the trim work and the beadboard. Going to fill all the nail holes and do some light finish sanding tomorrow.

Re: Show us your... winter project

A few parts were ready to be lightened which I finished yesterday. 4-5 coats of primer dried overnight. They'll be painted today when I return from Amherst.

Reconditioned TLR front rim and GSXR rotors to replace the bent ones. Powder by Miles Hubert @ Motofab.

Honda F3 wheel that I had picked up during the middle of the 2009 season. New bearings and a spacer kit weren't in the budget so it sat until this winter. Powder by Motofab.

All dressed up and nowhere to go.... studded cr125r less than ~200 feet from a frozen river... grrrr.......

If the triples dry today I'll be able to assemble the bike and get it up on stands at least. Hoping to find instructions on changing out the fluid in the TLR forks online.

    08' RSWarrior project:
Just got it last summer, new leftover. I've only put 2000 miles on it.
Already factory stroked, bored to 100mm and raised to 10.5:1.
    Speedstar cams and springs.
Serdi valve job and porting by Patrick Racing.
    Barnet SR2 clutch conversion
Maybe a ridiculous belt to hold it all

Just waiting on the heads to reassemble.

Possibly custom carbon fiber pushrod tubes and rocker covers if the molds get made.

    Nice Jim!

I have put the bike off for a while and have been spending all my money on weapons, ammo, and woman.

When I get a chance I still want to do clip ons and powdercoat the rearsets.

If I get lucky I'll sell the dirtbike come spring, new Ohlins shock out back, and change the oil in the front forks and have the bike set up for me.

I had an unfinished basement, not sure what I wanted to do with it. Decided on a motorcycle/sports bar and family room. Had fun building it but hanging out in it is way better. Hey if there's a snowstorm at least I can start a fire, pour a guinness and look at the bike. it's been great for the playoff games and bike races too. Anyway here are some pics.
