The SV is down to just the frame and the motor. Motor comes out tonight after dinner in Manch with some friends. Pretty sure it has a pair of gen II cams in the motor already too. Bonus!

Removing the tip from the LV exhaust to get it powdercoated black to match the rest of the bike (it was a BITCH to say the least to get off)

shortened the levers about 1.5 inches and prepped for powdercoating.

going to drop these off today to get flat blacked

    yes the swingarm too

why dont you just buy shorty levers, instead of making your stock ones a safety risk of going through your leg. you basicly made your stock lever a spike now.

my bike is all done too.
    looks like this
    <------

no crashes this year so its staying as is. and as far as I know the furthest its been apart since Honda built it is the valve cover has been off once. and the suspension has been taken off to get done.

That was right after I cut them. I rounded the edges off so they arent sharp anymore.

    your bike looks good.

the engine covers are going to be flat black as well. i didnt want to powdercoat them so i'm just going to paint them on the bike. I'm going to just get a carbon fiber gascap

    Tearing down?

Frame is now out for blasting and powder, need to check out the engine, clean everything and put her back together.

    Re: Winter teardown begins...

    forks removed to get repaired

exhaust tip removed for powdercoating (it was a BITCH to remove, they make these LV exhausts well)

going to give the wheels a good scrubbing. someone was apparently trying to kill me by putting an entire bottle of tire shine on them, do you guys think the wheels are in good shape in terms of tread?

engine and clutch covers are sanded and ready for paint, exhaust is coming off to get wrapped. the swingarm and gas tank pad are also coming off today.

already ahead of you. I left them on the bike though b/c i didnt want to deal with any seals.

removed the exhaust and cleaned up the underside from all the road grime and dirt

    painted the undertail flat black

reinstalled the exhaust and put the first stage of heatwrap on. also painted the clutch cover flat black. (1st coat)
