Calling Bruce Tessier....! He had one on a Nova Scotia ride that, at the tip of Cape Breton, looked like a wave rotor!

Wow that is wore out.
Try those Ti 2 Sidewinder lifetime .
Those things never wear out .
those rears look like vortex racing sprockets - 520 and aluminum...8k miles and it's done
Wow. I had 12K on my stock chain before I changed it. The sprockets and chain had plenty of life left on them but I had to take the chain off to replace the drive shaft oil seal. I was like screw it, if the crap is off I mine as well replace the chain with an x-ring verses an o-ring and refresh the sprockets. If I didn't have to repleace the seal I would have kept them on there for another 12k!
just my .02, only sprockets going on my bikes are steel based. They last so much longer.
What about that guy who's front sprocket is welded on?:

Holy shiza, that sprocket is damn tootheless. Like the gums of a 90 year old. *shiver* How do you ever ride like that? Tighten the chain or not, you'd think that the chain might slip up a time or another? And I thought losing a tooth or two was bad....
So do Hawk guys never change sprockets, or do they just keep breaking welds and retacking?

Do Hawks have a weak point at the front sprocket/output shaft? How do you overcome this?
