My 1/4 zip jacket is from the UK (ProSpeed) and does not work properly with my Joe Rocket Ballistic pants (I would have to wear the pants backwards).Does anyone know a good tailor in the Burlington area that could adjust the jacket zipper to fit properly, or would that not even be advisable?
Thanks!
Go see Linda at Sew Unique. She on Pearl Street in Burlington. She does all our work on uniforms, did my wife's wedding dress. It may take her a little while depending on how busy she is but her work is great and not a terrible price.
wear the pants backwards, and take pics
Joe rocket only uses the 8" zipper right? not so sure that'll do much for ya, except act like suspenders and hold your pants up.
Try calling local shops and ask if they can recommend someone? Well, avoid land air of course. Not so sure people at that place even know how to use a telephone let alone much else
Yes, the zipper isn't that big, but it's the same on the jacket. Maybe they sewed it in wrong or maybe they just do it that way in the UK.
Thanks!
If you have (or can easily acquire) the other half of each zipper, it's an easy matter to make a zipper adapter that goes in between the jacket and pants.

Wearing the pants backwards would be advantage. No need to take off the pants for those much needed rest stops. LoL.
I may have been mistaken in my +1 to dic's post. The lady(and her son) are a place called Hydes Prides n Essex, headed towards Tafts corners from 5 corners on the right side of the road. Excellent work an quick turn around. Regards, Jake
