    dainese leather sizing question?

im looking at buying a suit and im just trying to narrown down what size im close to before i go shopping. im about 6ft 220lbs. im thinking im around a 56 size but id like to see if someone is a similar size to me. usually im a xl or xxl if i want it to be a bit bigger on me. i have an old feildsheer suit thats a 54 and i fit ok in but i think it could be bigger. ive heard dainese fit small. ive also heard the one piece suits are even smaller. id be looking at a 2 piece one.

I had a full leather Dainese jacket sized 46 EURO and that fit be perfectly (6'1 205 then). It all depends on what your build is. I tried on the 48 EURO but is was too long on the arms and had alot of extra room in the mid section. IMHO you have to try them on especially if you are going to spend the coin on a full 2 piece leather suit. Hit up Seacoast and ask for Patricia. They have a great selection of Dainese.

56 should fit you well. My Dainese suit is a 52 but im much smaller 5-7 170. Compared to the other ones I tried on they fit longer an thiner. Also make sure if you are going to be wearing a back protector or any other armor underneath the suit to bring that with you as it makes a big differnce in sizing.

Do you have a fabric tape measure like tailors use? I find if you have some measurements ahead of time and call a place like Revzilla, they can make a recommendation. They have a chart of employees and their dimensions for each item they sell, or at least, that's the impression I got when I called with a pants sizing question.

What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.

ya ive got a fabric tape but im planning on going shopping after work. i had the foresight to bring my underarmor but nothing else. I think ill be fine in the 56 range. im just gonna be short on time and have to get in and out without trying on dozens of sizes.
