So I am looking to pick up some new Alpinestars gear and a new Arai helmet. Curious who you all use for the best prices and service.
Thanks,
Randy
I've bought most of my gear from newenough.com, they usually have some good deals in the closeout section, and I've always experienced pretty quick delivery. With a helmet, I personally like to try them on before buying and wouldn't just pick one from the internet.

For the Arai helmet I would go to Moto Market in Acton. They will fit you to the right size and model and the service is great. For Alpinestars your out of luck, I have been unable to find anyone who carries a full line in the greater Boston/ NH area. I ended up buying Rev-it gloves because I could not find a pair of Alpinestars to try on.
I piss excellence!
The fitment issue is not the problem as I already know what I want and what size I need. I am more looking prices. Although I will probably buy the helmet from moto-market cause they are right down the street from my work and good people, but it is hard to justify not saving $80 just to support a local vendor.
Yeah I get that, they are a bit more than what you will spend on line, however keeping them in business so that you can at least try stuff on is sometimes worth it.
Well, I would still recommend motomarket because they will go through the different permutations of cheek and scalp pads to find the proper combination for you. Also, you will be able to go straight to motomarket for warranty claims should there be any.

Thanks, Guys. I understand where you are coming from and I probably would by from Motomarket. It would make it a lot easier if the difference was like 40 bucks. $80 difference is a new pair of gloves.
So how about for the A* gear?
want new?= find a friend that is buddies w. a shop owner who can order it for you and get you a deal, otherwise most prices are the same if not on ebay or craigs
used= whatever those guys said

I wanted to thank everybody for the information. I ended up ordering everything today from a company I have dealt with in the past and had great results. If you are looking for A* gear or anything else for that matter let me know cause the company I used beat everybody else by atleast 10%.
Could you just post the name of the company and make it easier for everyone?
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I did not want to piss anybody off cause I did not use a site sponsor or a local friend! Motorcycle Riders Inc. For all your motorcycle needs! Call and ask for Andrew.
Oh and if they don't have what your looking for MotoNekoParts.com :: Sportbike Gear, Parts, and Apparel also had some pretty good prices.
Thanks.
Noone will get pissed of at you for posting the shop you prefer and spreding the word about a good one.

Sree at MotoNeko.com gave me a great deal on everything I purchased. He beat the best prices I found.
