Yamaha WR250X

Anyone got one?
I'm very seriously thinking of seeling the triumph and picking up something like the wr250x. All my riding is in town, very rarely on the highway and don't do long trips.
Been riding a Kawi KLX250SF in my MSF classes and it is an absolute blast with decent pickup for a 250.

I've never ridden one but there are many threads on Supermoto junkie about them. The owners all seem happy and power seems to be comparable to the drz 400. Cool looking bike for sure, I'd go for it if i were you

If I wasn't so fat I'd have one by now. The guys on Supermotojunkie seem to like it, and there are a lot of cool parts coming out (or are available now). Bigger tanks, PC3, exhausts, TURBO KITS (), etc...

I could be wrong but I "thought" the woodruff key issue was only a problem on the 2003 WR450 with E-start

Agreed, The hyper is a full sized motorcycle that you have to respect and all. The 250 does it all and you can absolutely have your way with it...
