    i'd do it now.. at least if its early enough into march you won't miss too much of the riding season.. Then you'll be on the road by June.. and is it a real 3 mos recovery where u won't be able to cheat and ride????

    If you get surgery now you'll be healthy and happy and riding by July 1, maybe earlier.

    If not, you will be riding sooner and miserable the rest of the season, if not the rest of your life.

    No brainer, do it now and get it overwith.

    i can walk & run now with pain but its only been 6 months
    im not doing this just for the pay off
    i dont trust MD like i said i can walk & ride now on the other side if i dont do some work im fucked..... got 2 find a real job

    I had a Lumbar Laminectomy yesterday after trying all the physical therapy shit. Like you say, the tough part will be not riding -- I've got 6-12 weeks, so not so bad. I managed to get scheduled early due to some cancellations -- saw the neurosurgeon for the frst time only last Wednesday, got out of OR at about 5pm yesterday.
