Deals Gap May 04 Possibles??

I know it's way early for this but there have been a lot of inquiries for this already. If I get more than 10 people that want to go, I will have to reserve a second house which is right behind the one we have now!

Here is a starter list of possibles, copy and paste the whole list & next to your name add if you deffinate, pondering, not going. Anyone else iterested add your name with the same info, Thanks.

Who else would like to join? If we get a list of definates and it is more than 10, I will need to reserve a second house, which can sleep another 12! The house we have now can sleep 1 couple, and 7/8 very comfortably. So comfortably it will hold 10. with 10 people the 1 house for a week would cost less than $100 each! Thats sweet!!

is there a reason for to go in May? isnt it more chance of rain in Spring?

May is cooler than the rest of the summer, less tourists (Dollywood is down there....ugh), less riders. The weather was only an issue one day last year, and it was pretty decent overall the rest of the week.

I am already excited for this trip! The second Saturday is May 8th and the 15th would be the following Saturday. Let me know the exact days of departure to and from so I can set it up for sure and then let me knw when you need some money. I am going to set aside money now to prepare ahead of time.

I have gone down for the past 4 years, sure it rained somewhere every year, but most rain showers were short and localized, its' in the mountains, it can be thundershowers in onplace and clear another... ridng in the rain is more fun anyway, less bike traffic

may is definatly the best time, any later, and it will get sweltering hot when you take a jaunt to Georgia

I will be trailoring. Very few have trecked it down there. Thats too much for me! I want to get down there fast and enjoy as much time down there as I can..

If you ride, plan 3 days each way or more, depending on how far you go out of your way to avoid highways & cities

I have ridden 3 times and trucked once. I prefer to take a few extra days and ride. but this year, I might have 2 bikes

Too early to plan out trailoring for me? I have a trailor so I am not too worried about it. If there is room I'll let you know, but i might be taking both my bikes, dont know yet. The 600 is perfect for the Dragon! If I only take the RC I can take 2 others, but one spot is already spoken for. (If he still goes!)

you might be better off not thinking about bringing dringing money, but actually bringing what you want to drink..... it is a 40mile + ride/drive in any direction to a county that is not "dry"
