'shim job'? OK...I'm an idiot...but I am not sure what that means! Perhaps you are talking about the spot resurfacing??? If so, it wasn't great...same on 107 coming down the hill before Pittsfield...but it was a hell of a lot better than before they did the patching!!
If you meant something else I'll agree with you even though I don't know what you're talking about. I just want to avoid stirring up anymore controversy!!!

Bwaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaa!!! Yeah, it's the patchwork. Every 10 years or so they redo the whole stretch from 107 to 106. When we first moved up here they had just resurfaced the entire top. That whole stretch was fresh pavement, almost perfect for 2 or 3 years. Coupla more years they'll be resurfacing again... :shredder:
