Southeastern RI & CT coast ride advice

I'm heding down to meet a buddy of mine in Mansfield, MA next weekend, and we're looking to ride Southeastern RI and then the coast of CT for the day. Anyone down that way that could recommend a good ride route? I'm not familiar with the area really.

Also........ thinking about crashing overnight somewhere in teh Watch Hill or Black Point areas. I'd also appreciate any recommendation on a decent motel / hotel. Thanks.

The only advice I can offer on a coastal RI ride on a motorcycle is to stay away from the coast The weekends, especially towards the final weekends of the season, it is jam packed anywhere near the coast.
I'd say do a inland ride and if you're set on staying the night in the Watch Hill area $$$$, head to the coast in the evening...that is if you can find a place that isn't booked.
There are some nice roads on the RI, Ct line that you can have some fun on, even while keeping the speeds in check. 49, 201, 164, 165, 14A, 14...etc
