For anyone looking for a great rider training program, the Lee Park's Advanced Riding Clinic (ARC) is happening at the NH track on April 18th.
If you're not familiar with the program, the link below should explain most items.
Very simply, though, this is a course that takes place in a parking lot environment - not on the racetrack.
Skills that you will focus on are:
•Effective cornering techniques
•Precise throttle control
•Throttle-to-brake transitions (trail braking)
•Line selection
•Body position
•Mental attitude
•Suspension adjustment
•Corner exit
•Traction management
Tonys Track Days is running a trackday on April 18 and 19, so students can take the ARC on day one and then put their newfound skills to use on the track the following day.
NOTE: The trackdays are "weather guaranteed", meaning we'll only have them if it is dry and comfortable temps. This is a feature of the April trackdays only.
Here is the link to more info about the ARC program, and to register if you wish.

Frickin' a
I was waiting for this too, but I will be in Georgia that weekend.
This is a great class for ANYONE!
I plan to take Part II this season...
Anyone?
Has anyone taken the ERC from MSF and this course? How much more "advanced" is this course than the ERC? I feel like this course is probably too advanced for me at this point, but it also seems like such a good class and it seems that it's not going to be offered here in New England again after the June date.

I have taken the ERC and watched some of this class. This class looks more advanced than the ERC, In a good way.![]()

I believe they revised the ERC since I took it, so can't say exactly.
However, if you have taken the Basic MSF and put a couple thousand miles on your bike... then the Lee Parks ARC program is a great place for you.
We fully expect the June date to sell out, so don't wait too long to sign up. With just 6 students per instructor, you'll get tons of personal attention.
And seriously consider the trackday on the following day.
Hey Tony,
When's the deadline to sign up for this before it gets cancelled? You might want to post under general track day section, too.
Anyone interested in the class should search it on YouTube. There are several videos showing the class. Some better than others, but help me decide to take it.

I figure we need to almost full... 9+ a week out... or we'll have to call it.
As for the trackday, sort of the same thing. I'm not going to run a date with only 20 riders or something.
This things are WEATHER GUARANTEED... amazes me more people aren't taking advantage of it. You either get to ride on a nice day... or for just $20 you switch it to a different date.
This will NOT be true for the other dates... normally we run RAIN or SHINE... chilly or hot!
So if someone signs up for this class or the TD and it gets cancelled because of attendance, does the money get refunded or do we get put in the other ARC class?

If you sign up for a trackday, the money goes toward any other trackday this year.
If you sign up for the ARC, you can have a refund, another ARC, or the money can go toward a trackday (with balance refunded). We do this because there are fewer ARC dates and someone might not be able to make a different one.

There are some personal videos that come up too, but this seemed to explain the course the best.
