Hey guys, for those of you who mentioned that you have donations for raffle prizes could you email Doc, MotoFreak or myself with what you have and who/where it is from so I can compile a list? If anyone wants to donate and would need to ship something please pm me with what you have for the raffle so I can work out the shipping/someone picking it up with you.
Those of you that think you can make it saturday night too please drop me a line and indicate if you will want pizza as well.
Thanks everyone!
-Jason
Update to AJ's status: HERE
It's rough.
First and foremost my friends, thank you so much to all those who have donated to the event. We have raised almost 50% of our goal in a week and half. Jason (Yesterdayze) and Doc (Doc)have put a lot of working in getting things set-up for Saturday, and while I am confident that we'll reach our goal come Sunday, it would be that much better if we could get as close as we can, or even exceed it before then.
VTBN is fairly new to the scene, as are many of the active Vermont riders here on the forum, but the response from Forum Members so far has been much more than I really anticipated-not that I doubted for a second. Please continue to drum up support for the event and our effort to help AJ as much as well can. In case you guys missed the update, and the seriousness of AJ's condition...he's still in the hospital, bedridden. And to make matters worse chances are he won't be able to ride this summer.
Thanks again for your support, we would love for you to be able to make it up for Sat if possible.

yeah, to clarify, AJ is currently basically paralyzed from the waist down at the moment and has almost no upper body strength and limited mobility/control with what upper body movement he has. It will be an absolute miracle if he can ride anytime within a year from when he is released as nerve damage typically has a set rate at which it heals and it will be some time before his body regains it's strength.
We look forward to seeing lots of new faces and lots of old ones we haven't seen since summer. We have a lot of great raffle prizes and door prizes. Thanks again for all the support you guys have shown to AJ and to many others on this forum.
So...I've got the potential for 14 people to at least come and grab a beer, fairly sure 5 of them will try a raffle and stay a while...
This community is so wonderful! I went to school with AJ and he is such a great person! I will be in town this weekend and hope to make an appearance on Saturday night!!!

Hey for those who are interested, the track days, dyno tune, battery and tire raffle tickets are all also available online at http://vtbikenight.com/AjFundRaiser.pl
Online purchases will end Saturday at 1pm.
Great news, AJ is responding to the treatment. His progress is slow but he was able to lift his legs a little yesterday which is an exciting sign! His arms continue to weaken as the syndrome is attacking them, however he still maintains good rotation ability of his arms which Doctors assure him is a good sign.
Assuming things continue to improve AJ should be told a new release date soon and I will update this as soon as I know what it is. AJ continues to keep up a good attitude despite the emotional stress of his situation. Let's keep pulling for him. Just a little more to go and we hit our goal. Hope to see many of you there this Saturday evening!
WOOOOOOOTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Total raised 3060!!!!!
You guys rock!!!! Oh, and AJ and his Girlfriend are now AJ and his Fiance!!!! and yeah, don't tell her we told but someone spotted her crying when the total was announced
Awesome when you help someone huh?
Doc, MotoFreak and myself are planning on presenting this to AJ. We will leave the donations thing open until a few days before then in case anyone else wants to pitch in anymore.
THANKS AGAIN TO THIS GREAT COMMUNITY, TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND TO ALL WHO HELPED US SUPPORT AJ IN HIS TIME OF NEED!!!
