Just looked at your itinerary... Deadhorse, Coldfoot. Sounds like a lot history behind those names
You're spending one night at the "Bear and loony bin". So how does this work? They make you share a room with a grizzly bear, and they call you names for agreeing to it?
Scene where I was separated (consciously uncoupled) from my motorcycle last Sunday, August 17th riding from McCarthy to Valdez. See that groove in the middle of the bridge? Well, I didn't because my shield was covered with mud and wiping it only smeared it. My front tire dropped into the groove and the bike simply tipped over. Scariest was the yellow streak on my helmet where I slid along the upper rail. Evidently I was sitting up other wise my head would have gone in between which could have ended really badly!

Wow that is a amazing adventure. Hope the hand holds up.
Hey Dave
How do you like the transit gear?
Is it worth the money

I wish it had been the first set of gear I'd have bought cus it will be my last. It's awesome. Truly waterproof. I don't typically overheat so the fact that it's not vented isn't an issue for me. And their claim that the proprietary finish 'reflects' heat seems true to me.
