I have learned that I have some competition against the ride for Louden. Anyhow, here's the story:
I've been friends with my friend Pat for YEARS due to riding bikes. Currently he's in Missouri for some training with the Army. He'll be back on the 23rd - late. He and I decided to get one last good ride in before he leaves on My 7th for his adventure to Iraq for 12-18 months. We decided together to make it into a group ride. I've already mentioned it to my normal riding group via facebook. The plan is meet up at Wildcards Automotive/Performance in Hooksett, NH by 1pm. Then go out for a ride to where ever. Grab a bite to eat for lunch (no where special = fast food or sandwich shop). Do some more riding and people can peel off from the group when ready.
Route is not yet plotted, so any suggestions will be taken into consideration. I was thinking the Kanc., but I think it may be too early for that. Also, if anyone has radio's like a chatterbox, charge it up and bring it along.
If you're interested, let me know. Here's the link to the event I posted in facebook. Feel free to friend request me as well on facebook. Just add the message that you're from NESR.
Hope to see some of you guys there, and by all means you can invite other riders/passengers.
Sorry man, promised my Dad I would ride with him and some of his Harley buddies on the 25th.
Also, you may not get much interest as the 25th is the Ride to the Races.

Sorry Beegz! I've been waiting for the 25th's Ride to the Races like Stiggy said. I'd do the ride in a second!
Good riding my friend and I hope Pat stays safe!!

Unfortunately, rescheduling is not really an option. He's getting a party thrown for him on the 24th, and him and the little lady are taking off for a little while during the week. My wife is working the following weekend (one of the prices to pay for being a nurse) and then he's gone that following Friday. A scheduled day during the week would probably be a horrible turnout IMO. So, if no one goes then so be it. There are others from my normal group that have interest. If it's just Pat and I, well then... who knows where we'll wind up. Kenn better have his phone handy though just in case. May wanna keep tabs on me on latitude as well. If I am getting close to LOUDON, then he may be getting a text from me.
Out of curiosity, how late to the races go anyhow? When would people be leaving? Pat and I will probably ride quite a bit, even if the others go. Also, what does one have to pay to get in there? I've never been there (hush hush now) so I am clueless. Would be cool to check out.

Come to mine on the 24th and I'll go to yours. Even though he's in the army...

By the way, Ive been the to kanc twice in the last week. It was 50 at the top today, but the rest was in the 60's. Still has snow at the top but the road is clear. With even a leather jacket its fine. Not to early at all. in fact its nice because theres almost no traffic. at a very "spirited" pace I only passed one car.
