Just wondering if anyone wants to join a not so big, not so fast ride to Laconia for opening day of bike week. Free breakfast at my place and maybe a BBQ after on the way back. Would be leaving Candia NH at 10am to head to Laconia. Breakfast at 9am. Cruisers and Ricers welcome. Not sure which I will be riding for that day. A good chance to meet new people and find another excuse to ride. Weather is suppose to be 80's and mostly sunny. Let me know if your interested.

Where is Candia NH? My friend that was going to head up with me had something come up and I really wanna make it up one day this week.

Its on the way to Laconia from you. Its right near Deerfield or the deerfield fair. Basically 93 North from Ma. and then when you get to Manchester it is about 10 from there east on 101. Then we are going to take the back ways up to Laconia as to avoid the highway.

The word on the street is that I'm a dumb newb and therefore unfit for group rides.

hahahaha newb - everyone point and laugh...
He said it's an easy paced ride. The problem is when a new ride hops in with a seasoned group that plan on a spirited pace. The new rider ends up holding up the group and gets frustrated and doesn't have fun and the people that want to go fast can't. I don't know what made you write that but that may be some of the reason someone said something. Take it with a grain of salt and if you see a ride that you think may be interested in just ask the leader/host of the ride if you're welcome to come and let them know your experience. I'm slow and have never had a problem.
Bras cause cancer.
I have a friend that is new to riding this season so we are taking it easy for her and even at that some times we might jolt on a few corners, but always wait at stops and intersections for the entire group to catch up. This is nothing big or special, just a reason to meet a few new people and get up to bike week.

Is it a tough place to find once you get off the main roads?

You guys may have left but in case;
The wife and I will be in the grandstands at the track all afternoon. Watch for an NESR flag. Always good to meet fellow members with common addictions.

Murphy says you'll catch up to Granma just before the Twisty sign.
Was a nice small slow sometime lost sometimes not ride. 7 bikes in all and somehow ended up going around the entire lake, but weather was perfect for the ride up. Hint of rain on the way back, but not bad. Thanks James for coming nice to meet new people.

PS decided to spend $20 to play on the wheelie machine and it was the best $20 bucks I ever spent.

I wish I had more time to go up there, but got to go out of town the rest of the week, thus the reason I went up Saturday. And again it is suppose to be crappy weather all week. Why every bike week gotta rain?
