I had a great time checking out Eric's Cafe in bellows falls. What a cool place! Eric is a great host, with some pretty entertaining stories. Certainly worth swinging in any time you are near Bellows Falls.
The ride home was pretty uneventful except for the wires on Motofreak's tires, and us missing rt 10. His tire held up just fine (atleast until killington when i split off), and we were able to find the road we were looking for- and it was better than I remembered. The last time I was on that road, I had only been riding for a week so my lines were way off. That day I also got my first speeding ticket on my motorcycle... So 2 seasons later decide its time to head back there.. and WOW. While its no T*** or Rt 17, sections of it are almost in between.
Hey guys,
It was nice to have met you both and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the shop. We'll do it again but this time I'll have my Ninja parked outside and perhaps the coffee will at a shop somewhere up state while we enjoy a ride together.
Cheers!
+1 and +1
I was down in Brattleboro visiting a friend this weekend and my rear tire was def. worn, but I thought she had at least 500 miles left...turns out she only had about 197 left...met Mr Bread at Eric's Coffee shop (we need to some peeps together and head down there...maybe meet up with some NH folks)
and Bread was like "dude you got a little cord showing" it turned out to be more than a little...like a good solid 2 inches across.
Good time to ops check a corded tire!
Made it home safe and sound no issues...I like to run em raw anyway (tires that is).
Thanks Mike for a great rip, Rt11 or RT10, don't matter, though 11 is rough...the Tyson/Reading Rd kicks ass!
327miles round trip, and made it home right on time, 4:01!
