    After consulting with my staff, we have determined that it is 50 minutes from Conway to Alton. It's not all that far, but it's a bit of a roundabout drive. I'll include directions from the Wolfeboro area when I post the details of the party. (you'll be passing through Wolfeboro if driving from Conway)

    Cabin fever party

    Details on the Cabin Fever party we are having this Saturday:

    As far as a starting time, we figure 7:00 or so would be good. If you need to show up earlier (if you are arriving directly from a ski area, etc) that’s OK.

    We are not planning on a full meal (there’s no way we can compete with Sean&Leah) but there will be plenty of snacks and munchies.

    Directions:

    Gordon & Kristin Stearns
    16 Southview Lane
    Alton, NH.

    FROM JAY’S HOUSE (for those that know where he lives): Take Rt 28 North for about 10 minutes until you come to the Alton Traffic circle. There is a McDonalds and a gas station & convenience store on the circle. The convenience store is a good place for refreshments. From the Alton Traffic Circle, take Rt 28 North for 4 miles. Take a left onto Rt 28A. Take Rt 28A for one mile. Take a right onto Trask Road. Go 200 feet and take the first right onto Southview Lane. Third house on the right. Light green with a detached garage.


    FROM SOUTHERN NH: Take Rt 93/293 to Concord, NH. Take exit 15 off Rt 93 onto Rt 393, just like you were going to NHIS. Go to the end of Rt 393 and proceed on Rt 4 East. Take Rt 4 for about 10 minutes to the Epsom Traffic Circle. Take Rt 28 North off the traffic circle. Proceed on Rt 28 North for about 25 minutes until you come to the Alton Traffic circle. There is a McDonalds and a gas station & convenience store on the circle. The convenience store is a good place for refreshments. From the Alton Traffic Circle, take Rt 28 North for 4 miles. Take a left onto Rt 28A. Take Rt 28A for one mile. Take a right onto Trask Road. Go 200 feet and take the first right onto Southview Lane. Third house on the right. Light green with a detached garage.


    FROM THE SEACOAST OF NH: Take Rt 95 North to the Spaulding Turnpike. Take the Spaulding Turnpike to exit 15. (Lake Winnipesaukee exit). Exit 15 will put you on Rt 11 North. Take Rt 11 North for about 25 minutes to the Alton Traffic circle. There is a McDonalds and a gas station & convenience store on the circle. The convenience store is a good place for refreshments. From the Alton Traffic Circle, take Rt 28 North for 4 miles. Take a left onto Rt 28A. Take Rt 28A for one mile. Take a right onto Trask Road. Go 200 feet and take the first right onto Southview Lane. Third house on the right. Light green with a detached garage.


    FROM NORTHERN (central and west) NH: Take Rt 93 to exit 20 (the Franklin/Tilton Malls exit). Go left off the exit and take your first right onto Rt 140. (you will be driving by the McDonalds and Burger King joints that you can see from the exit). Take Rt 140 for about 10 minutes. You will come to a stop sign. Follow the signs for Rt 140, which is a left at the stop sign and then a right at the blinking light. You will go a short distance and pass through a traffic light, which is the intersection of Rt 106. Go straight through the light and continue on Rt 140 for another 10 minutes to the intersection of Rt 107. Go straight through and continue on Rt 140 for another 15 minutes to the very end. It ends in Alton. Take a right onto Rt 11 and go one half mile to the Alton Traffic Circle. There is a McDonalds and a gas station & convenience store on the circle. The convenience store is a good place for refreshments. From the Alton Traffic Circle, take Rt 28 North for 4 miles. Take a left onto Rt 28A. Take Rt 28A for one mile. Take a right onto Trask Road. Go 200 feet and take the first right onto Southview Lane. Third house on the right. Light green with a detached garage.


    NORTHERN (east) NH: Take Rt 16 (or other route of your choice) to Rt 28 to Wolfeboro. I can send details if anyone needs them. From Wolfeboro take Rt 28 South. About 10 minutes from Wolfeboro take a right onto Rt 28A. (if you miss the turn, you will end up at the Alton Traffic Circle…turn around and head back). Take Rt 28A for one mile. Take a right onto Trask Road. Go 200 feet and take the first right onto Southview Lane. Third house on the right. Light green with a detached garage.

    EDIT: The Alton traffic circle is approx. 5 miles from my house...

    The distance from the Epsom traffic circle to the Alton traffic circle is approx. 20 miles...

    A few of us are meeting at my place. We plan to leave for Gordo's at about 7:00. If any ya'll that know where I live wanna meet at my place for primers and follow us, feel free. We're about 10-15 minutes from his place...
