Cape Routes

Hey, I'm riding down to Welfleet for some vaca next week. I always end up taking crappy Rte 3 most of the way or 3A (this is from Boston)...

Are there any south shore folks or experienced people with better routes down the cape? I know i'm going to hit traffic anyway you cut it, but does anyone have interesting roads to share? PM if you're concerned about LEOs or squids.

Also, I've ridden around down there plenty, but anyone have favorite routes on the cape? I'm thinking some early morning buzzes and evening cruises will be in order while I'm relaxing with the family...

There's not much on the cape for "spirited" riding... your best bet is to contact Mick since you'll be in his backyard. The only good road I know of is in Wareham/Carver and a few other roads in the Rochester/Lakeville area but the last roads have dicks for cops around em... Mick will give ya your best "tour guide"
