Western Ma riding / events

Sunday looks nice 06/26/2011. Putting out a feeler on riding from Springfield area to CT for a few hours on a moderate group ride. I can research some routes that would be nice. (I generally just go and get lost then find my way back). I typically ride for little with my helmet off and enjoy the breeze then slap the lid back on and ride a little harder.

Let me know if any ones intrested if I can confirm a few Ill plan a ride say form 9:00 am till 12:00pm and then see where the afternoon takes us. I have a good friend whos experienced who is riding with me on Sunday so just looking to add a few more.

Hi All, Sunday looks warm and dry looking for info on a good ride in the western MA and northern CT area.

Also can any one tell me what events and rides are happening in this area? I see last year the were some Hooters bike nights and I think Downtown Springfield has there night as well bu:drink looking for some info on other events/rides as well.

It is the end of Vintage week, plus they are running the Legends car on the road course, I think.

A squid is someone with little riding skills and and even less protection. Identifying qualities include: lots of chrome, stretched out swing arms, t-shirt with a chest protector.

Little gear, lots of shit talking and huge chicken strips on their tires sure sign of a squid.

Turns out I have this weekend off but Saturday looks like 40% chance of rain...
